Despite the chilly weather, there was still a significant amount of litter present on the beach. Volunteers collected 665 items of litter in total. The most common findings included:
- Hard plastics: 150 items
- Candy wrappers: 46
- Plastic bottles: 12
- Cigarette butts: 72
- Rope and fishing fluff: 122 items
Overall, the cleanup showed that plastic pollution, especially small, persistent fragments, remains a major issue on the shoreline.
